Syracuse Renewal Group

We believe in structures that outlast the trends of their moment.

Syracuse Renewal Group was founded on a quiet commitment to conservation, structural integrity, and the physical memory of our regional architecture. We do not construct for temporary satisfaction; we build and restore to establish a sense of quiet permanence.

Our Ethos

A continuous conversation with native materials.

Every project begins with an audit of history. Whether stabilizing the hand-hewn timber frames of a historic landmark or framing the clean geometries of a modern architectural extension, we treat native stone, structural wood, and lime mortar as physical elements of a continuous local narrative.

Our process is deliberate and intentionally paced. We source materials that age with dignity—limestone that deepens under the weather, raw oak that silver-patinates over decades, and bronze that responds to the touch of human hands. We refuse the shortcut in favor of the joint that remains flush for a century.

We maintain a small, highly disciplined operation in Upstate New York. By restricting the number of concurrent commissions we accept, we ensure that our principal craftsmen remain actively on-site, safeguarding the details that casual builders routinely ignore.
