We do not superimpose loud modernisms. Our practice is rooted in listening to the existing vocabulary of lime-rendered stone, slow-growth pine, and structural steel. We balance preservation with minimal, precise interventions that allow historic spaces to remain functional for generations to come.

We diagnose and remediate issues in historic limestone, sandstone, and local brickwork. By formulating custom, breathing lime-mortars and using historic repointing techniques, we ensure moisture flows safely out of historic fabric.
Repair and structural reinforcing of heavy timber buildings, barns, and joist networks. Using traditional timber framing joints, scarfs, and pins, we arrest structural deflection without losing original charm.
